Bio
I am a scenic and lighting designer for theatre. In a career that has spanned forty-four years, I have designed more than 400 productions from Broadway and the West End to Off-Broadway, American and British regional theatres, and store front spaces.
I am the recipient of many awards and nominations including two Tony Award nominations, four Drama Desk nominations, two American Theatre Wing Design Awards, and seven Joseph Jefferson Awards.
In addition to my design work, I am the Moores Professor of Theatre and Head of Graduate Design & Technology at the University of Houston.
